O que quero contar aqui é principalmente o período da minha vida em que era estudante e comecei a me profissionalizar.
Certo é que minha formação se derivou de uma paixão pelo que a Imagem ocultava, paixão que me fez deixar o curso de Arquitetura na Universidade Mackenzie logo no primeiro semestre, e passar para o de Artes Plásticas na Fundação Armando Alvarez Penteado (FAP/FAAP), ambas em São Paulo. Foi uma decisão difícil. Na época este curso congregava habilitações em Comunicação Visual, Desenho Industrial (uma nacionalização do termo Design que acabou por se mostrar pouco inclusiva e foi rejeitada pelos profissionais da área) e Licenciatura em Artes. Meus pais ficaram bastante aborrecidos, pois, com razão, pensavam que a arquitetura era uma profissão mais valorizada.
Enfrentando esta posição contrária, fiz o primeiro eixo do curso com bacharelado para desenho de produto, com uma bolsa integral que eu conseguira trabalhando como monitora do Professor de Estética (a maiúscula é intencional) e depois fiz as disciplinas pedagógicas, para garantir um campo profissional na área acadêmica, ficando no final licenciada em artes.
No decurso dos 7 semestres daquela monitoria, que me seduziu completamente para a área da educação, entrei em contato com a Filosofia da Arte. Leia-se aí Rudolf Arheim e a Donis A. Dondis, e a Sintaxe da Linguagem Visual, que estamos trabalhando.
Assim, foi na minha formação escolar que se solidificou paulatinamente uma vontade de exploração estrutural da construção imagética e suas intersecções com a palavra, conceituando o pensar. Nesse período de estudante trabalhei muito de graça, mas deveria ter pago para trabalhar, porque o que se apreende é muito mais do que o que se investe em tempo e dedicação. Fiz estágios na unidade da Febem Tide Setúbal, trabalhei com as crianças internas nas casinhas da Irmã Irene, à Rua Gravataí, atrás da Praça Roosevelt, fiz estágio em colégios de mais afortunados como o Rainha da Paz e tantas outras atividades de iniciação de um/uma jovem, que hoje são negligenciadas por pressões financeiras.
Formada na Faap, morei em Londres e viajei mochilando por toda Europa, entrando em todas as portas de museus e instituições de cultura que estivessem abertas à rua. Aprendi muito. Lá também trabalhei de graça, fazendo estágios no museu de Israel e em loja de impressão fotográfica em Wembley, periferia de Londres. Voltando dois anos depois, fiz bacharelado em letras na Faculdade de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas da Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Mais madura, aproveitei muitíssimo o curso e fiz todo aquele movimento entre as disciplinaridades, que é conhecido na USP como bandejão cultural. Isto significa fazer disciplinas na História, na Filosofia, na ECA e, principalmente, no clube da cidade universitária, que é muito bom.
Trabalhei como monitora na XVIII Bienal Internacional, de 1985, ajudando na montagem, convivendo com curadores, educadores e artistas e depois guiando visitas e aprendendo com o público, em todos os sentidos. Repeti a dose na Trama do Gosto, exposição de cunho nacional, que fazia parte de uma tentativa de mudar o perfil da Bienal de evento para processo cultural.
Da Bienal fui para a Secretaria Municipal de Cultura de São Paulo - parodiando o Chris Gardner em A Busca da Felicidade, esta eu chamo da parte frustração e decepção de minha vida. Entretanto estes sentimentos também são importantes na nossa consolidação. Trabalhei nove meses terríveis e meu departamento pediu demissão coletiva, mas prefiro não falar disso. Fiquemos com o lado bom:
Começou nesta época, primeiro concomitantemente, e depois carreira solo, minha vida de professora. Dezesseis anos de coisas boas a lembrar: Faap, Belas Artes, Unip, Santa Marcelina - muito trabalho, muita alegria e muito cansaço; muitos erros, alguns acertos fundamentais, criação - são capítulos que mereceriam um memorial só para eles. Convivi com tanta gente boa, entre colegas professores e alunos, e fiz muitos amigos, criando minha rede de pensamento, trabalho e relacionamentos entre os melhores, para mim. De um dia a dia louquíssimo entre as instituições, vidas de professores horistas, realizam-se pequenos milagres diários entre as pessoas, o que sempre me fascinou. Passei a trabalhar com as disciplinas teóricas através de metodologias semelhantes àquela que estamos implementando. Não se chamava intersemiótica então, mas era. Fizemos centenas de trabalhos, apreendemos juntos, mas disto falaremos mais para frente, algum dia (hoje este se destina a contextualizar o momento de vocês, o do aprendizado para o trabalho).
Depois plantei árvores (plantei mesmo), tive um filho e vim para a Unesp, e aqui tive a sorte de conhecer a Professora Plácida Santos, que me trouxe tantas alegrias, me ensinou, renutriu minhas esperanças, ancorou meus sonhos, acreditou e fundou o Intersemioses, que agora nos reúne. Na comunidade estou depositando minhas melhores intenções de compartilhamento formiguinha e espero poder apreender mais com vocês e com nossos novos parceiros, do que ensinar. Já está acontecendo, os desafios nos levam a ação, eles devem nos levar a ação. Espero que a uma ação conjunta. Abraços carinhosos a todos.

Uma rápida história sobre o porquê
de ingressar na comunidade CIAM:
Desde criança, sempre almejava mexer
com fotografia: tudo no mundo era novo
para mim e eu queria, de alguma forma,
poder registrar tudo o que via ("se pudesse
ter três desejos -pensava- o primeiro seria
de poder tirar fotos com os olhos: era só
piscar e pronto: imagem captada.").
Meu tio-avô é fotógrafo e pintor, vive pelas
ruas desenhando e fotografando paisagens
e pessoas. Ensinou-me o básico e deu-me
tintas, pincéis e molduras. O resto nasce
conosco e se aperfeiçoa conforme treinamos
e corremos atrás de nossos anseios.
Confesso que pintura não é meu forte, no
máximo esboço algum mangá, mas a
grande realização veio quando ganhei minha
primeira máquina fotográfica digital. Fiz
muitas viagens e ela sempre estava em
minhas mãos, pronta para captar alguma
imagem interessante.
Fiz alguns cursos de photoshop e adoro
passarhoras do meu dia editando uma
fotografia...
Fiz álbuns, books e algumas edições
pessoais. E é aqui que começa a minha
história no CIAM: ingressei no GECA
(rsrs, é a sigla do Grupo de Estudos de
Catalogação Automatizada) com a Prof
Dra Plácida (confesso que sempre desejei
fazer parte de algum grupo em que ela
ministrasse, é aquela coisa de olhar para
a pessoa e saber que vai dar certo),
pensando poder ajudar com meu francês
freqüente. Por interessar-me tanto por imagem
e por ter um pequeno e simples "currículo"
totalmente ligado à questão da imagem,
convidou-me a ingressar em esta
maravilhosa comunidade que cá estou e
não deixarei tão cedo, para que eu pudesse
auxiliar quanto à questão do photoshop,
enfim. No que puder ajudar, estarei à
disposição sempre.
Aqui, conheci uma pessoa que tem uma
energia muito boa, positiva:

Lis Helena, ingressante no curso de biblioteconomia.
Tenho 18 anos e uma personalidade baseada na idéia trazida pelos punks a muito tempo atrás : "Do it yourself"(faça você mesmo), transformei meu jeito de pensar quando me inseri nesta comunidade e reformei o modo de enxergar aquela filosofia, penso que através da união posso fazer(ou podemos fazer) transformações concretas, visíveis e melhores do que se estivesse sozinha.

Irei contar um pouco sobre mim, como todos os outros integrantes da Comunidade CIAM. Bem, comecei Biblioteconomia sem ao menos saber o que era exatamente, não conhecia nada; quando vim para Marília, literalmente me sentia perdida e sempre me perguntava o que eu estou fazendo aqui, mais não passava de frustração de uma caloura que acabava de chegar da divisa do estado.
Com o passar do tempo na Faculdade, e já trabalhando com a Professora Plácida no Grupo de Estudos de Catalogação Automatizada (GECA), me interessei pelo Grupo de Estudos de Intersemioses Digitais. Entrei no CIAM, porque querendo ou não, gosto de arte, desde pequena, me interessava pelo artesanato em geral, porém a imagem e fotografia nunca foi meu ponto forte. No começo, nas primeiras reuniões do grupo, pensava ser loucura relacionar uma simples captura de um momento com a informação, um pensamento que hoje vejo, era apenas medo do desconhecido. Com o CIAM, aprendi a adorar a Fotografia, a entender que uma Imagem capturada nada mais é do que passar para seu “leitor” o que faz te sentir, descobrir, viajar, recordar olhando para aquela Imagem.
Hoje e nos próximos anos pretendo ter um caminho conjunto com a Imagem Digital, desenvolvendo pesquisas e trabalhos, e muito provavelmente meu trabalho de conclusão de curso será sobre alguma coisa relacionada à Imagem; porém ainda é cedo pra pensar sobre isso. E também com a tecnologia, há muito o que fazer na questão das Imagem Digitais!

Com o passar do tempo na Faculdade, e já trabalhando com a Professora Plácida no Grupo de Estudos de Catalogação Automatizada (GECA), me interessei pelo Grupo de Estudos de Intersemioses Digitais. Entrei no CIAM, porque querendo ou não, gosto de arte, desde pequena, me interessava pelo artesanato em geral, porém a imagem e fotografia nunca foi meu ponto forte. No começo, nas primeiras reuniões do grupo, pensava ser loucura relacionar uma simples captura de um momento com a informação, um pensamento que hoje vejo, era apenas medo do desconhecido. Com o CIAM, aprendi a adorar a Fotografia, a entender que uma Imagem capturada nada mais é do que passar para seu “leitor” o que faz te sentir, descobrir, viajar, recordar olhando para aquela Imagem.
Hoje e nos próximos anos pretendo ter um caminho conjunto com a Imagem Digital, desenvolvendo pesquisas e trabalhos, e muito provavelmente meu trabalho de conclusão de curso será sobre alguma coisa relacionada à Imagem; porém ainda é cedo pra pensar sobre isso. E também com a tecnologia, há muito o que fazer na questão das Imagem Digitais!

Aqui vai uma tentativa, afinal escrever sobre si é muito complicado. Sou nascido em uma pequena cidade próxima a São Paulo, chamada Ribeirão Pires. Completei agora 18 primaveras, cheias de alegria e realizações pessoais, dentre as quais atualmente tem se destacado minha presença nesse grupo, já que tenho tido a oportunidade de trabalhar com Arte, coisa que desde novo sempre amei e que mexe muito com meu íntimo, dando-me força e vontade pra me dedicar a este trabalho.

Tenho 18 anos e começo agora minha vida de universitária (pra contextualizar, rsrs).
Como todo jovem, eu ainda não sei o que eu quero exatamente, planejo por um bom tempo um caminho a seguir mas depois eu mudo pra outro e pra outro... Mas quero sempre pensar um caminho dentro da comunidade, nunca fora dela, adoro imagens e a mensagem que ela pode passar pra gente!
Já pensei em cursar publicidade e propaganda e jornalismo, cursos totalmente ligados à comunicação. Agora estou aqui na Unesp cursando Biblioteconomia, algo que nunca pensei até alguns dias antes da inscrição pro vestibular! Eu simplesmente adoro! É só que posso dizer. É claro que sempre haverá algumas frustrações, mas isso não vem ao caso.
Bom, o caminho principal a seguir eu já escolhi: intersemioses digitais. Agora só falta escolher entre as ramificações dessa área, que sei que são muitas!

Me chamo Wellington, tenho 18 anos e curso o 1º ano de biblioteconomia na Unesp - Campus de Marília.
Cheguei no curso de Biblioteconomia já sabendo que era isso que eu queria mesmo, apesar de ter prestado vestibular pra Jornalismo, Publicidade e Propaganda, e Ciêcias Contábeis.
Adorando o curso, resolvi participar da comunidade Ciam, dentro do grupo de pesquisa Novas Tecnologias em Informação, pelo seu conteúdo: " A imagem"...
Faço artesanato de todo tipo: " Apareceu algo novo, já estou tentando.", por isso acho que me enquadro perfeitamente no grupo, sou curioso, não somente por esta forma de arte, mas também pela minha facinação pela história da arte, dela estar incumbida nas tecnologias, e pelo fato de estar ligada à ciência da informação. Penso que terei futuro neste ramo.
Estou adorando o Grupo, está sendo como uma família....Maria José, Plácida, Aldinar, Raquel e todos os colegas, Adoro vocês! Continuemos e mãos à obra!...

Meu nome é Angela Claro, ou melhor, Angela Halen Claro Bembem.Bonitinho, não?Pois é, eu também gosto!
Bem, sou aluna do primeiro ano de Biblioteconomia na UNESP de Marília. Antes de decidir fazer Biblio, minha escolha era o curso de História, pois sempre gostei da área, e amava tudo que se relacionava à arte. Então, dentro do curso de biblio, nos foi dada a oportunidade de participar da Comunidade CIAM- grupo relacionado a arte e tecnologia. Assim juntei o útil ao agradável- meu interesse por arte aplicado à tecnologia.Demais!Por isso que cada dia mais me apaixono pelo CIAM, pois na comunidade compartilhamos nossos conhecimentos, dúvidas e ansiedades.Um ajuda o outro, e assim, o conhecimento que outrora era micro torna-se macro. Comunidade é isso mesmo- um ajudando o outro em todos os sentidos.
O meu maior desejo é que nossas conquistas não fiquem só para nós, mas que elas sejam impactantes para todos os que ainda não fazem parte da nossa comunidade, afim de atraí-los para essa nossa nova modalidade de viver, marcada pelo que posso chamar de um grande COMPARTILHAMENTO.
